Neenah to host 2009 State Lacrosse Championships on June 6, 2009
The Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation (WLF) announced that the Neenah Lacrosse Club will be hosting the “2009 State Lacrosse Championship” on June 6, 2009.This all day event will be held at Rocket Stadium on the campus of NeenahHigh School and feature premier lacrosse teams of multiple age levels from around Wisconsin who have earned a trip to the State Finals.

The High School Varsity Boys games will feature both a consolation and State Championship game among teams from the State’s three conferences (BayValley, Madison, Milwaukee) who have advanced through their respective conference tournament brackets and playoffs.The Girls Showcase Game will feature High School Girls Varsity level from around Wisconsin, and the BoysMiddle School games will showcase players from around the State as well.

Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation (WLF) was established in 2001 as the state chapter for US Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse.The WLF promotes and oversees boy’s and girl’s youth, high school, college and post-collegiate lacrosse.
