2010 MALA YOUTH GAME RULES
MALA Youth teams will follow the NFHS 2010 Boys Lacrosse Rule Book, including the additions listed starting on page 86 with the following exceptions:
Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation (WLF) has made exceptions to the National Federation of State High School (NFHS) and US Lacrosse Youth Council Boys rules.
Age Definition
Senior Division: 7/8th grade
Junior Division: 5/6th grade
Bantam Division: 3/4 grade
Rule 1 - The Game, Field and Equipment
Goals and Goal Lines - Section 3 Art. 2
Revision to NFHS Boys rule
Rage Cage and/or practice goals may be used for games.
Player Equipment - Section 9 Art. 1(a)
Revision to NFHS Boys rule
All players of a team DO NOT need to wear helmets of the same color or colors.
Player Equipment - Section 9 Art. 1(g.-3)
Revision to NFHS Boys rule
Jersey numbers should be at least 8 inches tall on the front and 10 inches tall on the back.

Advancing the ball beyond center line - Section 14

Standard NFHS "20-second count" will apply at the Junior and Senior Divisions
Rule 5 - Personal and Ejection Fouls
Body Checking - Section 3
